THE 27TH PHILIPPINE FESTIVAL IN TOKYO
December 7-8, 2024, at Yoyogi Park Tokyo, Japan
The 27th Philippine Festival Tokyo was held on December 7-8, 2024, at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. This was a major cultural celebration organized by the Philippine Assistance Group (PAG) in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo. The festival was officially opened by Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene J. Garcia-Albano and Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Akiko Ikuina, along with other distinguished guests including members of the Japan-Philippines Parliamentarian Friendship League.

First Georgetown Ventures Inc. (FGVI) recently had the honor of a productive engagement with Mr. Christian L. De Jesus, Deputy Head of Mission at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. The meeting, which took place during our visit in Tokyo last December 2024, brought together FGVI President Kristopher Yang and Mr. De Jesus in a meaningful exchange focused on real estate market trends between the Philippines and Japan.
During their discussions, President Yang and Deputy Head of Mission De Jesus explored the growing interest of Japanese investors in Philippine real estate opportunities. Mr. De Jesus shared valuable insights about the economic relationship between the two countries and expressed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting responsible Philippine businesses operating in Japan. President Yang, in turn, provided an overview of FGVI’s development philosophy and our expansion strategies designed to meet the evolving needs of our diverse customer base.
